The weather is hot and humid in most of America, though a bit chilly in some places of the world. School is almost in session for "normal" kids, though it currently is for kids at the group homes. Though sometimes they're allowed out on a supervised field trip to the zoo or city pool. While most normal kids are out enjoying their summers, the kids of the group homes are stuck with therapy, chores and structure.

I think there might even be a mermaid teaching the new culinary class. But, hey, at least we keep things interesting, which is more than we can say for those species-ist private schools everywhere else.
