The Plot

Chloe, Derek, Simon, and Tori escaped the experiments alive, barely. With the help of the boys' dad Kit, and Chloe's Aunt Lauren, they took down as many other projects and group homes as they could. What they found was grueling. Hundreds of teens in group homes, many of them killed because they could be rehabilitated from the experimentation that were preformed on them. These teens also were being fed lie after lie, they were told that they also had some kind of mental illness or disease that explained and covered up their powers and abilities. Most of them accepted that they had an illness, took their pills and followed their strict routine of therapy, class and chores in hopes of getting better. But others, like Liz, couldn't try hard enough and were "terminated" because they couldn't be rehabilitated. And now, 50 years later, all seems to be right in the world. Kids are told at a young age what they are and taught how to control their abilities. All their hard work seems to be finally paying off. But what they don't know is that the Cabals are beginning to rally together again in secret. The Cabals have begun to start their experiments again, in other countries too where the supernaturals seem to be more plentiful. Group homes are beginning to pop up in the States again, disguising themselves as private schools and such. The Cabals have much more knowledge now than they did 50 years ago. Knowledge to correct those earlier mistakes to have more successes with the kids. But one thing hasn't changed, the failures are dealt with the same way, quickly and humanely.
